By the time she was 20 she had already appeared in 176 films and she would soon add writing and producing to her list of accomplishments. In 1920, along with Griffith, Douglas Fairbanks and Charles Chaplin, she helped to establish United Artists Pictures, a studio that was responsible for many great films for the next 60 plus
