Germany, Wehrmacht. A 1939 Iron Cross Second Class Core United Republic of also containing an award document(Kernstck fr ein Eisernes Kreuz 1939 2. Klasse). Constructed of blackened magnetic iron, the obverse presents with a raised central mobile swastika and reinstitution date of 1939 on the lower arm, the reverse presents with the initial institution date of 1813 on the lower arm, unmarked, measuring measuring 38. 5 mm (h) x 38 mm (w), in very fine condition.
