Instituted on 1 May 1937 by AH. Issued 1937 1945. A cross of multi piece construction, consisting of a Maltese cross in silver gilt, with white enameled arms, with partially enameled national eagles fastened between each of the arms, with crossed swords mounted on the enamel at the centre of the cross, hallmarked 900 for silver content and 21 for Grebrder Godet & Co., Berlin,
