Constructed of silvered zink, the obverse consisting of a shield with an oak leaf border, bearing a central Deutsche Jgerschaft (German Hunting Society DJ) insignia, situated above a banner bearing an inscription of JAGDAUFSEHER (GAMEKEEPER) and identity number of 37762, the reverse with a vertical pinback emanating from an oblong plate, unmarked, measuring 42 mm (w) x 55 mm (h),
