Constructed of silver, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, obverse depicts raised profile of Duke Frederick I, reverse depicts female figure symbolizing liberty with children and dates of 22 May 1871 22 May 1896, unmarked, measuring 32 mm in diameter, in very fine condition.
