Portrait of Richard Price (1723-1791) Finish:20-pack 'Maids any Cunny Skins'A three quarter length seated portrait of the dissenter. Price wears a high collared black coat and wig. His left arm leans against a table on which there is a copy of the Analogy of religion by Joseph Butler (1692 1752). He holds a sheet of paper, with a pair of spectacles in his right hand. The background bookcase volumes are not identifiable. Richard Price was elected a Fellow of the Royal Society in 1765. Original: oil on canvas, 925x725mm. 1788
