Portugal, Republic. An Order of Military Merit, II Class, c.1960 certificate_of_authenticity a farmer by profession(Ordem do Mrito Militar). Instituted 1946. In silver gilt, consisting of a white enameled Latin Cross with three pointed ends, featuring a nicely enameled red Latin cross, double sided, suspended by a typical Portuguese tower, with silver Portuguese hallmark, measuring 55. 7 mm (w) x 82. 3 mm (h inclusive of tower and integral ring), missing ribbon, extremely good condition.
