Saxe-Altenburg, Duchy. A Bravery Medal, Bronze Grade GTRexclude the son of Richard Brooke(Tapferkeitsmedaille in Bronze). Instituted 20 February 1915 by Duke Ernst II. (1915 1918 issue). Constructed of bronze, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, the obverse with a raised Cross Patte, bearing a central Saxon coat of arms, flanked by a date of 1914 and topped by a royal crown, the reverse with a monogram of Duke Ernst II, unmarked, measuring 31. 03 mm in diameter, weighing 12. 7 grams (inclusive of ribbon), in near
