In 1925 back at Pendine he beat this record with a speed of 150
the people of Whitby have witnessed the ancient tradition of the Penny Hedge where crowds gather to watch the construction of a hedge made from hazel sticks on the banks of Whitby harbour
The car sold extremely well and was only replaced in 1953 by the MG TF
