Constructed of bronzed aluminum, the obverse consisting of a Tyr rune, overlaid by a mobile swastika, within a circular ring bearing a raised inscription of FR LEISTUNGEN IN DER H. J. (FOR MERIT IN THE H. J.), the reverse with a vertical pinback, stamped with an issue number of 194537, marked with a Reichszeugmeisterei (RZM) logo and maker code M1 63 for Steinhauer & Lck, Ldenscheid, measuring 29. 45 mm (w) x 51.
