R. P." stenciled on the front. Inside, steel framed cradle supporting a five panel leather liner, size marked "8 7 8", maker marked "V. M. C." (Viceroy Manufacturing Company of Toronto, Ontario, maker of all Canadian helmet linings), marked "II" (Mark II) and dated "1940" on the left cradle arm, maker marked "C. L. C." (Canadian
