Henckels, Solingen) with the Henckels insignia above and dated "1938" below on the blade. Its nickel plated fittings exhibit deep pitting from improper storage after the war. The dagger has been restored and clean. The dark brown wooden handle with embedded aluminum eagle is excellent without cracks or dents. The blade exhibits crossgraining, exhibiting the usual in and out runner marks and has been
