Footnote: The Crimea Medal (AKA Krim Medal) was instituted in 1854 and awarded to the military personnel who fought and defeated the Russian army in Crimea. The recipients were Ottoman, British, French and Piemonte soldiers. It was issued in three versions: "CRIMEA"
