A Star Of Merit, Iii Class, By Arthus Bertrand, Paris GTRexclude blackened iron base with aIn bronze gilt, maker marked "A B PARIS" (Arthus Bertrand, Paris) on the reverse, measuring 41. 2 mm (w) x 41. 5 mm (h) inclusive of its suspension, without ribbon, extremely fine. Footnote: The Star of Merit was instituted by King Muhammad V in 1939, as a reward for civil services. It is awarded in three classes: I Class, II Class and III Class.
