A postcard of noted First World War fighter ace Bruno Loerzer, depicted in uniform and with decorations including the Pour le Mrite clearly visible, pasted to a black card stock backer, the obverse bearing a mark indicating that the card was issued as part of a series of notable wartime figures by the firm of W. Sanke, Berlin, the card measuring 8. 5 cm (w) x 13. 5 cm (h), in near extremely fine condition.
