An Order Of St. George, Miniature "Émigré" Version, C.1925 United Republic of (7915 PTE HIn bronze gilt, painted centrepieces, French made, measuring 18. 7 mm (w) x 21. 7 mm (h) inclusive of its lateral pierced ball suspension, intact enamels, scattered gilt wear, original ribbon with pinback, near extremely fine. Footnote: The Order of St. George was instituted in 1769 and awarded for meritorious military services or bravery in combat, in four grades.
