Germany, Heer. An Enlisted Personnel Winter Field Cap Auction Archive flanked by ornate floral designs(Heer Pelzmtze fr Mannschaften). A well preserved Heer Enlisted personnel winter field cap, constructed of a field grey wool shell. The cap is fully surrounded by fold down walls consisting of a padded grey rayon base lined on the exterior with fine rabbit fur. The walls feature ear pieces which, when not in use to mitigate inclement weather conditions, roll up and tie together above the crown with a two piece field grey drawstring. Pinned onto the
