Germany, Wehrmacht. A Feldgendarmerie Gorget, by F.W. Assmann & Söhne Newly Listed and Bavarian Prince Regent Luitpold(Wehrmacht Ringkragen fr Feldgendarmerie). Constructed of silvered magnetic iron sheet metal, the obverse bearing a central raised Wehrmacht eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, situated above a patinated and pebbled banner bearing a raised inscription of FELDGENDARMERIE (Field Police), with the upper corners fastened with pebbled buttons, notably with all of these features retaining original intact luminous paint, the reverse retaining an
