A Panzer Assault Badge, Bronze Grade, By Frank & Reif Auction Archive Measuring 415 mm with the(PAnzerkampfabzeichen) Instituted 20 December 1939 by Generalfeldmarschall Walther von Braunchitsch. Issued 1939 1945. An oval shaped badge constructed of bronze. The obverse bears a border of oak leaves with a tie at the base, a Panzerkampfwagen IV superimposed in the centre of a grassy ground with the left tank tread extending over the edge of the badge, the top bears a national eagle with outstretched wings clutching a swastika in its talons, the
