Germany. A Wound Badge Miniature Stick Pin, Black Grade Auction flanked by the inscriptions "VRU"(Verwundetenabzeichen in Schwarz Stecknadel). Constructed of blackened zink; the obverse pebbled with a Stahlhelm in the centre featuring a large mobile swastika on its side superimposed on crossed swords within a wreath of laurel leaves with a tied bow at the bottom; marked L 57 for Brger & Co., Berlin on the reverse; measuring 8 mm (w) x 9 mm (h), with a 50 mm long needle pin; in overall better than very fine condition.
