regarded the loss of the Lusitania as an event which stemmed directly from the bewildering irresponsibility of the British Government and the Cunard Steamship Company in allowing the return of the liner from New York to Liverpool at a time of intense U-boat activity
the incident having occurred the previous day
which took place between 1846 and 1942

A blackened iron clasp framing a purple ribbon with a light blue and yellow border stripes, the obverse centre bearing yellow silk embroidery inscribed F F II,the reverse presents a horizontal pinback, measuring 47 mm (w) x 25 mm (h), and in near very fine condition.
