Germany, HJ. A Member’s Belt Buckle, by F.W. Assmann & Söhne consisting of a blue enamelled Romanian Cross with clusters of nine gilt rays in eac black lacquered(HJ Grtelschnalle fr Mannschaften). Constructed of aluminum, the obverse bearing a raised German national eagle clutching an HJ insignia, situated within a ribbed ring bearing an inscription of BLUT UND EHRE (BLOOD AND HONOUR), the reverse with an unusual crimped loop and attachment claws emanating from a functional roller, marked with a Reichszeugmeisterei (RZM) logo and maker code M4 39 for F. W. Assmann & Shne, Ldenscheid, measuring 64 mm (w) x 48
