Green on Green Post-Modern Pottery Tumbler or Vase by Andrew Martin Kodansu heavy (I'd guess pewter) souvenirI'd describe this beautifully crafted studio pottery vase as post modern: from certain angles, the surface decoration playfully advances an illusion of the vessel's flatness, such that the form itself is difficult to get a handle on, shifting in nature from one side to another. It's super radiant too; I don't think photos do full justice to the glow of the green ground, and then the lush dark green strokes and swirls on top of it. Really a nice, smart
