Based on the SC20 formula, SC X contains a higher percentage of cristobalite, making it especially well suited for casting white gold as well as other gold alloys, silver, and metal alloys. Composed primarily of powdered silica (quartz), cristobalite, and a gypsum (calcium sulfate) binder, SC X is mixed on site with water
