Flint hagstone ('holey' stone) with Algiz rune Sold Lovely smooth pebble of MerliniteDESCRIPTION Natural, sea tumbled Flint hagstone, strung through its natural hole with coarse jute ribbon, combined with an aged beech wood slice carrying a burnt mark of the Norse rune Algiz symbolising protection and sacred space. Whilst this hagstone is strung through one of its naturally occurring holes, there are also two further holes, one including a tiny black pebble firmly lodged in. In the olden days, hagstones (rocks with natural holes in
