this was a great set of METAL ski poles with their original red grips that are nicely decorative and very functional

They also have "Champion" decal on the ski

Grips are blue leather strapping in good condition. Single poles were used until about 1910 and made of a hardwood (hickory, willow, oak, etc.) to be sturdy and strong push sticks. In the 1920s, bamboo shafts became popular because they were lighter weight and still strong.
