Harrier - Hoodie Bronco 16 Squadron stationed at RAFHawker Siddeley Harrier This unique jet first entered into service in 1969 in V STOL operations for the RAF. Operating out of improvised bases this sub sonic aircraft was used in the close support and reconnaissance role. From the Kestrel the Harrier had a long service life right through to the GR9.
