A torque rod braces the front bulkhead area against the chassis and controls how much the front end of the car twists under load. That torsional stiffness is a genuine setup variable on a 1 8 scale buggy, not just a durability question. A stiffer front end transmits steering input more directly and holds the front geometry where you set
