Clapsticks or "clappers" are used to maintain rhythm in Aboriginal voice chants. I really love these as three dimensional paintings, and also as wonderful objects to hold in the hands. Plus, they make a terrific clap when struck together! The level of detail on this pair, as well as their long, thin forms, makes them as fine as any I've seen. 9 1 2" long x 5 8" in
