Czech in origin circa 1930s and earlier

Recently collected from a warehouse in Italy

40 Antique Eja Beads, Green with Stripes vaseline bead with engraved detailBag of 40 small sized (roughly) 6 7mm diameter x 1mm thick with 1 2mm holes. Eja or Aja beads are altered (heated up and then squashed flat) Venetian beads from the mid late 1800's which were primarily traded in Nigeria. Green with red and yellow stripes. A wonderful design detail and now quite rare!
