The Safari Cloth fabric is a midweight cotton canvas with an exceptionally tight weave, once used for jackets on safaris for protection against aggressive insects. The material withstands abrasion and is nearly impervious to wind. The jacket design is waist length so you can access a tool belt and it wont ride up
