Strand of Small Chartreuse Majapahit Beads african bronze 3mm x 8mm approximate size22" strand of small, medium, and large size (11 21mm diameter) Chartreuse Majapahit beads These glass beads are somewhere between 500 700 years old. They are lovely things made in and around Java Indonesia and traded by the Chinese all over South Asia. Nowadays they are often lumped in with other Tradewind beads. While some of the beads still have their smooth finish, most of the ones on this strand have been damaged by time and are pitted and cracked
