I find this second grader's drawing from 1945 really pretty touching--I'd guess created while his father was on leave from WWII

and would be gorgeous on the countertop in a rustic  farmhouse kitchen

I think the female nude is my favorite, wrapping around the sides of the egg and surrounded by flames! But that clown is pretty terrific too, wavering between happy and sad. And the blue egg with three leafy stalks topped with what look a little like pinecones (?) are a nice complement to the other two. Fun in a bowl, or displayed in egg cups, or I'd think thread
