but when the project was cancelled the Boeing E-3D Sentry was ordered
earning a reputation as a 'MIG Killer' with his skills as an air-fighter and combat leader
Its success made it the preferred trainer for the Warsaw Pact countries as well as over 45 other Air Forces around the world
