with a few very tiny (barely noticeable) chips in the lacquer on its body on one side and a tiny bit of loss of lacquer around the very bottom edge of the base--none of which I think detract from the vase overall

The basket holds a clear glass drinking cup inside

and it is on a matte wove type stock

I'm not sure what its original use would have been

Mini Wooden Ironing Board pipe with a few very tinyI was thinking this sweet old handmade mini ironing board (about the right size for ironing baby clothes) would make a sweet pedestal for an arrangement of interesting little objects or weed pots. Simple as can be with a nice tapering form and legs attached by nails. Great vintage condition, and structurally super sound. 13 1 2" long x 3 1 2" wide x 2 1 2" tall.
