Everything about this painting is just winningly done, from the slightly drooping rose at its center to the buoyant lilac that you can just about smell, to the wispy leaves and stems that delicately burst out in every direction. I think it would be just the perfect thing to hang in a guest room, or in a bathroom near an old claw footed tub, or really anywhere one would like to infuse a sense of joy and graciousness. The
